Community Music School

For more than a decade, the Southeastern Community Music School at Southeastern Louisiana University has proudly and effectively provided the entire Northshore region with a vital community-based program of music education.

Welcome to Spring 2019!

We look forward to our Spring 2019 semester, scheduled to begin during the week of January 28, offering individual instrumental and vocal lessons, and a five-week orchestra session. We are excited about the Solo Audition Winners' performance as soloists with the Southeastern Symphony Orchestra taking place on  November 28 at 7 p.m. in Pottle Auditoriun on Southeastern's campus. Our spring festival event will take place in March of 2019.  In addition, the end of the semester recitals, a delightful display of talent and creativity will take place in early May, and the audience will once again have a chance to vote and choose the new Outstanding Musicians.

Individual instrumental and vocal lessons (13 weeks):

  • April 19 - 26 -Spring Break 


  • May 14, 6 p.m.

  • May 17, 4:30 p.m.
