these shingles are replacements, they are exact replicas.

A view of back of the Cushman-Slaughter house. Although it has
seen some minor repairs and hundreds of gallons of paint, the
majority of the work and the materials are original.

View of the front of the general store. This and many of the
outbuildings were built by the carpenters local and a local
boys’ club. All of the outbuildings have many antiques as
well as some important artifacts of local culture.

View of one of the original fireplaces in the house (one of
four). All of the decorative touches were painstakingly done. If
viewed just right, the carved section at the top is at an angle.
The metal at the bottom was hand molded and shaped. Actually, it
comes from a mold and each of the four fireplaces have a different
design. This one was in Dr. Cushman’s examining room.
