The Miss Southeastern Louisiana University Competition is a preliminary competition as part of the Miss Louisiana/Miss America Organization.

Shelby was crowned Miss Southeastern Louisiana University 2024 on January 26, 2024 at the Columbia Theater. She is a Strategic Communications Major, from Sunshine, Louisiana. In June she will compete for the title of Miss Louisiana
Shelby’s social impact initiative is Shelby’s Social Canvas: Brushing Life’s Colors in Every Post.

CAB has sponsored the Miss Southeastern Scholarship Competition since the 1970’s. Each Miss Southeastern goes on to compete in the Miss Louisiana Scholarship Competition.
She gets to participate in many exciting events throughout the year as she represents Southeastern.
