Actual Signature Requirement For Contract Amount
Over $2,000

In accordance with Louisiana
Administrative Code 34:V.121.E.1, all contracts in excess of
$2,000 shall contain “signatures of both the head of the using
agency or his designee and the contractor. At least one submitted
copy of each contract shall bear an actual, nonfacsimile
signature of each party”. Actual signatures shall be in indelible
ink.

Actual Signature Option For Contract Amount
Up To $2,000

Contracts up to $2,000 shall contain
signatures of the contract coordinator and the contractor. The
contract may bear an actual or facsimile signature of each party.
Signatures shall be an indelible form.
