Places to Study
Sims Library offers different study and work environments. We have collaborative spaces, study carrels for graduate students and faculty, as well as quiet zone areas available.
Group Study Rooms
Sims Library has 10 group study rooms on the fourth floor for collaborative study, class work and research.
Open/Collaborative Areas
Open and collaborative areas allow you to study in groups or indivually without a reservation. These areas are on all floors of the library.

Please note:Study carrels on the 3rd and 4th floors are available by request to support study and research by currently enrolled graduate students and full-time
faculty.

Quiet Zones
The Library has two designated zones for quiet study purposes only, located on the 3rd and 4th floors. The 3rd floor quiet zone is located on the north side of the library facing Pride Hall. The 4th floor quiet zone is located past the book stacks in the northwest corner of the floor.
