Southeastern Police Department to host rape aggression defense class

     HAMMOND – The Southeastern Louisiana University Police Department is hosting a Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) class for the women of the local community. The class is scheduled on campus Nov. 20- 22, and there is no charge to participate.
     The class is 12 hours of training, broken into three sessions of four hours each. The sessions are Friday from 6 - 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1 – 5 p.m. Attendance at all three sessions is necessary to complete the course.
     This class is open to women only, and the location is confidential. Registrants will be contacted several days prior to class to confirm their attendance and to be notified of the location at that time.
