Southeast Louisiana Business Center to host BNI meetings

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University’s Southeast Louisiana Business Center, an incubator and one-stop shop for economic and business development, will begin hosting weekly meetings for the Hammond Northshore Chapter of Business Networking International (BNI).
The mission of the BNI is to help members increase business through a structured, positive and professional word-of-mouth program that enables development of long-term, meaningful relationships with quality business professionals. The group accepts only one individual per professional classification or specialty to join a chapter.
Northshore BNI meets weekly at 9 a.m. and will begin hosting meetings at the Business Center in Hammond on Thursday, Nov. 5.
“We are excited to host BNI’s weekly meetings and hope that our center can assist the group enhance its mission,” said William Joubert, director of the center and the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern.
