When Cody Coumes (’10) was medically retired from the Navy as a helicopter rescue swimmer, he relied on his design and digital art background to further advance his career. With a bachelor’s degree in digital arts and new media, he found an opportunity in the field of UX design, a design philosophy based on simplicity and fun for the program’s user.
Cody plans on one day opening his own creative studio. In the meantime, he works with designers, developers, and stakeholders to create digital interfaces that meet the needs of website users. His love for collaboration with other designers and his ability to understand graphic design allows Cody to excel in delivering simplicity to the sites he develops.
