Ryan Green, associate professor and program director for Athletic Training, is dedicated to shaping the next generation of health care professionals. With a passion for hands-on learning, he helps students excel in both traditional sports and diverse fields like law enforcement and performing arts.

Ryan Green came to Louisiana for graduate school and found not only a new home, but a thriving career in athletic training. As a program director and an assistant professor at Southeastern, he’s passionate about developing future athletic trainers who can make an impact far beyond the sports field. From industrial settings to military and performing arts, Ryan ensures his students are equipped to handle the diverse demands of health care and injury management.

Ryan’s classroom is all about practical, hands-on learning, and his close relationships with students help him guide them toward success. Through internships with organizations like the New Orleans Saints and opportunities in collegiate sports, he ensures students get real-world experience to help them stand out.
