Scholarships
The Department of History and Political Science offers the following scholarships
through the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences as well as university
scholarships.

to apply. All students within the Department of History and Political Science are
encouraged to apply.
University Scholarships
Southeastern offers several scholarship opportunities for students through Southeastern’s
Scholarship Services Office as well as several of Southeastern’s academic departments.
Departmental Scholarships
The Gregory Caballero Memorial Endowed Scholarship in History

This scholarship is intended to support a student who is not qualified academically
for TOPS -
The student must be a resident of Louisiana

The student may be a female or male student who is majoring in History

The student must be of good moral character

Financial need will be considered

Student must be enrolled full time

Scholarship may be retained for 8 semesters
James H. Morrison Excellence in Government Endowed Scholarship

High school GPA of 3.0
-
Majoring in History or Political Science

Full time student

Retain: May keep for 4 years if criteria above are met
