Labs and Resources

The Department maintains labs and other resources to support teaching and research. These include and are maintained by: 

  • Athletic Training Laboratory (Dr. Ryan Green)
  • Exercise Physiology Laboratory (Dr. Bovorn SIrikul)
  • Health Resource Center (Dr. Ralph Wood)
  • Biomechanics and Motor Behavior Laboratory (Dr. Eddie Hebert/Dr. Brandi Decoux)
  • Strength Research Laboratory (Dr. Dan Hollander)

Minors

The Department of Kinesiology and Health Studies offers 5 minors. Students who wish to pursue a minor should seek advising in the department. This will help students plan course selection, as well as assist the department in planning courses to meet student demands. Students must earn a grade of “C” or higher in all required minor courses.

CHAMP 2023

CHAMP is  designed for children aged 6-12 years old with autism spectrum disorder, language, learning, and mild intellectual, and/or physical disabilities

COST: $85 per camper **Full scholarships may be available upon request. Please contact Dr. Morgan at the email below!

Your camper’s spot will not be reserved until payment has been received. Payment includes a t-shirt, all materials, daily snacks, and on-site activities.

DO NOT SEND CASH. If you are in need of other forms of payment, you will need to contact the Controller’s Office directly. Please refer to the ‘KHS CHAMP Camp.’

DAILY SCHEDULE:

Monday – Thursday

9:00 am – 11:50 pm

*Morning drop off – 8:40 – 8:55 am

*Afternoon pick up – 11:50 -12:00 pm

*Healthy snacks will be provided daily

We have a full schedule of fun activities such as:

Sports and recreational activities
