About

Nursing Practice

Southeastern's Doctor of Nursing Practice program prepares nurses at the highest level of nursing practice. Today's health care is more complex than ever, demanding additional education for those assuming leadership roles in caring for patients and assuring quality of care. This program offers doctoral preparation to nurses whose career emphasis is direct clinical nursing practice or areas that support clinical practice, such as administration and health policy development. Students in the program have opportunities for advanced study in evidence-based practice, organizational and systems leadership, health policy and theoretical foundations for advanced practice.
