Students in Southeastern's Management program gain knowledge in human resource management, entrepreneurship and small business management, international management and organizational management. Students develop a strong conceptual foundation in management as well as essential leadership skills to build successful careers in industry or to succeed in graduate school.

  • Southeastern's Society for Human Resource Management student chapter has been recognized as a Top 10 chapter three times (of 430 chapters across the nation) and has received a Superior Merit Award eight times since its charter in 2001

  • More than 100 students have been placed in internships since the program was implemented in 2001

  • Dr. David Wyld named the winner of Southeastern's President's Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2013

  • Faculty are involved in corporate training, professional presentations to local and international groups and promoting economic development in southeast Louisiana

  • Instructor Anna Bass presents seminars in executive etiquette to business institutions, civic groups, MBA students and student leadership organizations
