This workshop will be focused on chamber music repertoire including but not limited to duets, trios and quartets.
Participating students will have the opportunity to improve their sight reading skills, instrumental technique, and develop stronger ensemble skills while experiencing the joy of playing together. Activities will include ensemble lessons, master class, private instruction and theory lessons.
Enrollment Limit: 15
Student Qualifications: violin, viola, cello students of all ages who have had at least two years of lessons on their instrument and are comfortable reading music at their level.
Daily Schedule: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Final Concert: 11 a.m. on Friday, July 11
Cost of the string workshop is $225.00 per student due by June 20. This fee covers tuition, liability insurance, and campus health services. ($20 late registration fee will apply to registrations postmarked after June 20)
