Office of Student Advocacy and Accountability – Hearing Board

The Student Conduct Hearing Board is a committee of students, faculty, or staff members
who hear discipline cases. This hearing board is authorized to determine whether a
student and/or a student organization has violated the Student Code of Conduct and
to recommend the imposition of sanctions.

All potential student board members must hold the following:

  • 2.5 Cumulative GPA
  • Good disciplinary and academic standing
  • A minimum 30+ hours earned (Sophomore status)
  • Full-time student status (12 hrs. or more for Fall & Spring)
  • A strong work ethic
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to serve the entire academic year (fall and spring terms)
