Chris Coombs joined the Business Research Center in 2023 after providing public service in higher education for more than 15 years, teaching economics and conducting research in the areas of labor and health economics. During his time serving the role of Research Economist at the BRC, Dr. Coombs has conducted economic impact analyses for state and local agencies, the private sector, and non-profits. Additionally, industry studies, forecasts, and model estimation projects have been performed by Dr. Coombs and the BRC.
