College of Education Curriculum Committee

The College of Education Curriculum Committee is composed of the two department heads representing Teaching and Learning and Educational Leadership and Technology. The Director of Field Experiences is also an official member of the committee along with faculty and students selected from the two departments in the College of Education.

The Committee is the vehicle through which students and faculty can discuss innovations and problems and make proposals for curriculum changes to better prepare elementary and secondary school teachers, and non teaching College of Education majors. Curriculum changes recommended by the Curriculum Committee must be approved by the Council for Teacher Education.
