Phi Beta Lambda – Future Business Leaders of America
Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) is a nation-wide organization
that helps college students become more real-world ready by connecting them to local professionals
from a variety of industries. We have noticed that who you know is sometimes as important
as what you know, and because of that we have a strong focus on networking! We also
offer leadership opportunities for motivated individuals. Our meetings are held every
other week and we would love to see you there!
What can the Southeastern’s PBL do for you?
The driving goal of PBL is to train future business leaders to become contributing
members of society. Through your participation as an active member, you benefit from
leadership and training, contact made through networking, and opportunities to apply
your knowledge through business-related activities. As a member of PBL, you can participate
in the PBL sponsored activities such as competitive events, projects and ventures,
career expose, conferences, leadership training, and serving as officers on the local,
state, and national levels of a national organization. Here are some of the activities
that we engage in helping you:
- We want to enhance your career opportunities through network connection with
business people and organizational leaders in the local, state, and national levels - We bring speakers to address on current issues
- We hold annual social functions
- We host seminars to prepare you for the transition into the workplace.
