Chinese

Minor

The Chinese minor provides a more intense development of skills and knowledge of the Chinese language, and of Chinese cultures, literature, linguistics, economy, and arts, giving the students an opportunity to follow a course of study that will be supplementary or complementary to their majors. Students wishing to minor in Chinese are required to complete a total of twenty-one (21) semester hours, nine (9) of which must be at the 300 level or above. Chinese minors are strongly encouraged to participate in study abroad.
