Complete your MSW in only one year with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from a CSWE- accredited institution.

Earn your MSW in two years if you hold an undergraduate degree in any other discipline.

Program Requirements

For students without an undergraduate degree in social work:

• Earn a 3.0 GPA or higher in your last 60 credit hours.

• Earn credit for designated prerequisite courses.

• Submit a personal statement that includes discussion of why you wish to pursue a degree in social work.

• Include three professional or academic letters of recommendation.

For students with an undergraduate degree in social work:

• Earn an undergraduate degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited college or university in the past five years.

• Earn a 3.0 GPA or higher in your last 60 credit hours and a “B” or better in all undergraduate social work courses.

• Submit a personal statement that includes discussion of why you wish to pursue a degree in social work.

• Include three letters of recommendation (a minimum of one academic and one from your undergraduate field instructor).
