Tailgaters can win prizes for Homecoming decorations

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University tailgaters are being invited to let their decorating flair “roar” at Homecoming, Nov. 10.
There is no charge for tailgating groups in Friendship Circle to enter the “Decorate Your Tailgate” contest. Participants can use as their inspiration this year’s Homecoming theme, “80 Years of Rocking With Roomie”; the Alumni Association’s year-long 80th Anniversary celebration; or Southeastern’s green and gold colors.
Judging will take place before the 2 p.m. Homecoming parade. A Sweepstakes Winner and prize for Most Creative Decor will be announced during the Lions vs. Sam Houston State football game in Strawberry Stadium.
