HAMMOND – The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) at Southeastern Louisiana University, along with the Louisiana Procurement and Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) – Southeast, Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce and other partners, will host a seminar on government contracting strategies.
Scheduled on Feb. 17 from 9 a.m. to noon, the seminar will be held in Walker at the Livingston Parish Literacy and Technology Center.
“The session will offer information on two great tools to help businesses stand out in a competitive marketplace,” said Sandy Summers, assistant director of the Southeastern SBDC. “Topics include developing the capabilities statement, a tailored resume that allows customers to quickly connect their need with your company’s products or services, and developing a business continuity plan, a critical tool that outlines your process for recovery from a threat or business interruption.”
There is no cost to attend the event; however, pre-registration is preferred.
For more information or to register, contact the LSBDC at 985-549-3831 or sbdc@selu.edu. Online registration is available at www.lsbdc.org or www.selu.edu/sbdc.
