Southeastern students honored at Business Convocation

Students earning accolades from Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business were honored May 2 at the college’s annual academic convocation.

   HAMMOND – Students earning accolades from Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business were honored May 2 at the college’s annual academic convocation.
     Students recognized with awards included:
 
Iberia Parish: JaKaysia Brooks, New Iberia, Outstanding Academic Aware in Economics.
 
Livingston Parish: Kaylynn Granier, Walker, Distinguished Graduate in Marketing; Maddison Oakes, Holden, Distinguished Graduate in Management; and Abigail Wheat, Livingston, Distinguished Graduate in Accounting. 
 
St. Tammany Parish: Justin Mata, Mandeville, Distinguished Graduate in Finance; and Elizabeth Simpson, Lacombe, Distinguished Graduate in Supply Chain Management. 
 
Tangipahoa Parish: Greyson Boudreaux, Hammond, Distinguished Graduate in Accounting; Kaelie Robichaux, Robert, Distinguished Graduate in Finance; and Jourdan Settoon, Hammond, Distinguished Graduate in Marketing.
 
West Baton Rouge Parish: Hannah Sonnier, Port Allen, Distinguished Graduate in Business Administration.
 
CUTLINES
1) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS IBERIA BUSINESS STUDENT – JaKaysia Brooks of New Iberia was recognized with the Outstanding Academic Award in Economics by Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 2. 
 
2) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS LIVINGSTON BUSINESS STUDENTS – From left, Kaylynn Granier of Walker, Maddison Oakes of Holden, and Abigail Wheat of Livingston were recognized by Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 2. Granier was named Distinguished Graduate in Marketing, Oaks was named Distinguished Graduate in Management, and Wheat was named Distinguished Graduate in Accounting.
 
3) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS ST. TAMMANY BUSINESS STUDENT – Justin Mata of Mandeville was recognized by Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 2. Mata was honored as the Distinguished Graduate in Finance. 
 
4) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS TANGIPAHOA BUSINESS STUDENTS – From left, Greyson Boudreaux and Jourdan Settoon, both of Hammond, and Kaelie Robichaux of Robert were recognized by Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 2. Boudreaux was honored as the Distinguished Graduate in Accounting, Settoon was honored as the Distinguished Graduate in Marketing, and Robichaux was named the Distinguished Graduate in Finance. 
 
5) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS WEST BATON ROUGE BUSINESS STUDENT – Hannah Sonnier of Port Allen was recognized by Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 2. Sonnier was honored as the Distinguished Graduate in Business Administration.
