The Southeastern Lion Pantry is operated by the Office for Student Engagement with
the help of student workers and volunteers. The mission of the Lion Pantry is to provide
perishable and non-perishable items to any active Southeastern student who are in
need of services. We are located in McGehee Hall, Room 109.

Current Southeastern students must present their Southeastern ID and may visit the
pantry twice each week. During each visit, persons may obtain ten items, with a maximum
of twenty items each week. Of these items, no more than three of the same item may
be selected. Certain items, such as milk, bread, and toiletries, have limited quantities
for each visit.

  • Swipe Out Hunger

Swipe Out Hunger is a program to help address food insecurity on college campuses.
It allows for meal swipes to be donated from meal plans and dispersed to students
in need. You can find more information about donating and receiving meal swipes here.

  • Our Daily Bread

Our Daily Bread is a local food bank that has faithfully served the disadvantaged
of Tangipahoa Parish since 1999. Their mission is to alleviate hunger and make an
eternal impact by sharing kindness and compassion with everyone who is in need. Visit

Purchase items from our Amazon wishlist and have them shipped directly to the University.
